Taylor L. Hague

April 26, 1992 ~ September 14, 2017 (age 25) 25 Years Old


     Taylor L. Hague, 25, of Cogan Station, passed away Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at his home.

     Born April 26, 1992, in Williamsport, he was a son of Stuart T. and Tina L. (Nichols) Hague, of Cogan Station.

     Taylor was a graduate of Williamsport Area High School and attended Lycoming College. Taylor was formerly employed at Best Buy on the Geek Squad and served as an EMT for Old Lycoming Twp. Firehall.

     He was a member of Bethel Linden Presbyterian Church. Taylor enjoyed anything involving technology, tinkering with cars and welding. He was fascinated with all things related to medicine and enjoyed studying astronomy. Taylor’s friends and family referred to him as a "walking Google" and his other nickname, "T-NIGGS."

     Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Christian M. Hague, of Williamsport; paternal grandparents, William N. and Ruth M. Hague, of Williamsport; an aunt and uncle, Deb A. and Don Hemsley, of Jersey Shore; an uncle and aunt, Jay L. and Vanessa Nichols, of Jersey Shore; three cousins, Dr. Chantell R. McKee, Ashley Nichols-Weber, and Josh Nichols, best-friend; "brother" and second family, Blake Adams; and his family; and his beloved dogs, Boomer and Luca.

     Taylor was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jack L. and Shirley A. Nichols.

     A memorial service to honor the life of Taylor will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, at Bethel Linden Presbyterian Church, 2758 Bottle Run Road, Williamsport, with Pastor Lisa Dabney officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until time of service at Bethel Linden Presbyterian Church.

     Burial will be held at a later date in Jersey Shore Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Taylor’s name to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Make checks payable to Mental Health Association of New York City or MHA-NYC and mail to MHA-NYC 50 Broadway, 19th Floor, New York, NY 10004.
