Shirley L. Stachowski, 74, of Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at her home
Born March 19, 1944, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Francis E. and Mabel L. (Barr) Lebert.
Shirley was a graduate of Williamsport High School and Williamsport Area Community College where she received her associate’s degree in business. She was formerly employed at Brodart for more than 20 years.
Shirley was often found at her favorite hangout spots Burger King and Bonton. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Uno and Rummy, putting together puzzles, and watching Bonanza, Gun Smoke, Dr. Phil and Judge Judy. She was also an avid coin collector. Most of all Shirley loved and cherished spending time with her five grandchildren, taking them to the mall or watching her favorite television shows with them.
Surviving are her children, Paul F. Stachowski II (Tammy), of Williamsport, and Paula L. Miller (Richard II), of Montgomery; five grandchildren, Richard A. Miller III, Paul F. Stachowski III (Chanler), Rachael Miller, Justin Stachowski and Riley Miller; and a brother, David Lebert, of Williamsport.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Frederick, Francis and Joseph Lebert, and a sister, Roberta Lebert.
A funeral service to honor the life of Shirley will be held 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
