Robert W. Poole, Sr.

     Robert W. "Bob" Poole Sr., 89, of Trout Run, passed away Oct. 29, 2017, at the Williamsport Home. 

     He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Barbara I. (Flanigan) Poole and son Ernest R. Poole.

     Born May 27, 1928, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Ernest and Daisy (Walter) Poole.

     Bob retired from Textron Lycoming in 1989 after 37 years of service on the rod line and in the shipping department. He was a member of Trinity Assembly of God, Montoursville and a member of the Local 787 UAW.

     Surviving are his children, Alice M. Seebold,  of Las Vegas, Nev., Robert W. Poole Jr.  of Santa Paula, Calif., Kimberly Ann Hall, of Hughesville and Alan Richard Poole, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Bob was also blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

     In addition to his wife, son and parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard R. and Ernie Poole.

     In keeping with his wishes burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Muncy.

     Bob’s family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to his sister-in-law Helen (Bunny) Copenhaver and the caring staff at both HomeWatch CareGivers and the Williamsport Home who together provided loving support to him in his time of need.
