Robert D. "Bob" Gardner

     Robert D. “Bob” Gardner, 83, of Williamsport, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at Rose View Center. He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Carol A. (Liddic) Gardner on June 16, 2007.

     Born November 21, 1935, in Selinsgrove, he was a son of the late Walter and Velda (Shay) Gardner.

     Bob was a Williamsport High School graduate and following graduation he served in the United States Navy. He later retired from Union Camp Corporation where he was a plant supervisor for many years.  

     Surviving are a daughter, Jennifer A. Bloom (Anthony), of Niles, OH., two granddaughters, Arianna and Karessa Bloom,  a sister Loretta ‘Mick’ Bailey (James), of Williamsport, and a former daughter in law, Brenda Johnson.

     In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a son, Robert D. Gardner Jr.

     In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or services.
