Pamela A. "Pam" Walters, 68, of Muncy, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018, at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport. Surviving is her husband of 50 years, Steven F. Walters.
Born Sept. 25, 1949, in Highland Park, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and Vera (Flutterjohn) Florent.
Pam was a graduate of Muncy High School. She was the owner and operator of Grammy Pam’s Day Care and loved caring for children.
She enjoyed knitting, reading, flower gardening, playing cards and games on the computer. Most of all Pam loved and cherished spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was being a wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, William T. Walters (Kristie), of Unityville, Steven M. Walters (Michelle), of Muncy, and Gregory S. Walters (Crista), of Hillsboro, N.C.; five grandchildren, Wesley, Casandra, Aiden, Eric, and Bailey Walters; and a sister, Sandy Florent, of Lewisburg.
A memorial service to honor the life of Pam will be held noon Friday, June 15 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, with Pastor Max L. Walters Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pam’s name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 2048A Park Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
