Marie F. Hamilton, 72, of Williamsport, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Frederick W. Hamilton, on June 11, 1993.
Born Aug. 4, 1946, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Jennie (Albright) Nash.
Marie was a Williamsport High School graduate and retired from Brodart Company. She was a member of Lycoming Christian Church and enjoyed crocheting, needle work, gardening and watching movies.
Surviving are her three daughters, Lisa A. Douglas (Donald), of Muncy, Lori L. Sholly (Barry), of Lock Haven, and Lydia L. Guthrie (Buzz), of Salladasburg; a son, Jack R. Vanderlinder, of Milton; seven grandchildren, Aaron McElheny (Amanda), Rebecca Williams (Mike), Chelsea Cohick (Mike), Todd Reynolds (Carla), Zakary Reynolds, Mercedes Guthrie, and Devon Carson; six great-grandchildren, Belle, Giovanni, Farrah, Nathaniel, Adilynn and Jordan; two brothers, Kenneth Nash, of Iowa, and Neil Nash, of Williamsport; a sister Elizabeth Holk (Roland), of New Jersey; and best friend, Evelyn Benfer, of Williamsport.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley, Bill and Emerson Nash.
In keeping with her wishes there will be a private celebration of life held at the convenience of the family.
