Lorraine F. Manley, 81, of Williamsport, passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, at The Hillside Assisted Living, Montoursville.
Born Aug. 11, 1937, at home in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. and Aleada E. (Clark) Gephart.
Lorraine was a 1956 graduate of Jersey Shore High School. She retired as food service supervisor after working for many years at various area nursing homes. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir for more than 30 years. Lorraine enjoyed camping, traveling, going on cruises, and loved going on trips to Atlantic City to enjoy the casinos and the food buffets. Her favorite hobbies were scrapbooking and genealogy.
Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Howard T. Manley; three children, Tammy L. Woolever (Steven), of Williamsport, Robert G. Manley (Lisa), of Nippenose Valley, and Stephen A. Manley (April), of Cogan Station; six grandchildren, Dawn, Tiffany, Heidi, Andrew, Justin and Brandy; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald C. Gephart (Lois), of Lewisburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Robert G. Manley II and Nicholas Baker; a brother, Robert J. Gephart II; and two sisters, Eleanor Kerwell and Aleada E. Embick.
A funeral service to honor the life of Lorraine will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at First United Methodist Church, 604 Market St., Williamsport. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. The family will receive friends from 10-11:15 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
