Linda Lee (Hoover) Pick

     Linda Lee Pick, 70, of Montoursville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at Geisinger Medical Center.

     Born Oct. 13, 1946, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Charles Lamont Hoover and Bernadene Pearl (Moore) Gottshall Hoover.

     Linda was a 1964 graduate of South Williamsport High School and received her nursing degree in 1967. She retired from Williamsport Hospital after 46 years as a pediatric nurse. Following retirement she was an infant caregiver at Blessed Beginning Preschool and Childcare.

     She was a member of St. John’s-Newberry United Methodist Church and was currently attending Twin Hills Church of the Nazareth. 

     Linda was a New York Yankee’s fan, enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley music and flower gardening. She always took pleasure in her career as a pediatric nurse and had a love for children and animals. She was always known for thinking of others before herself and all who met her loved her company. Most of all Linda loved and cherished being a Nana. Her grandchildren brought a smile to her face and she appreciated the each moment she spent with them.

     Surviving are two sons, Christopher L. Pick (Michelle), of Montgomery and Jason L. Pick (Jennifer), of Montoursville; three grandchildren, Bethany, Samantha, and Erica Pick; a brother, Alfred Hoover (Diane), of South Williamsport; a sister, Elizabeth Seibert (Dan), of Stoystown; a step-son, Gregory Pick; former husband, Larry Pick; and several nieces and nephews.

     In keeping with her wishes there will be no services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.

     In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s name to her son Jason L. Pick, 1168 Brushy Ridge Road, Montoursville, PA 17754 to help offset final expenses.
