Kenneth R. "Ken" Brown

     Kenneth R. "Ken" Brown, 77, of Montoursville, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at Geisinger Medical Center.

     Born June 18, 1940, in Clearfield, he was a son of the late William and Margaret Brown.

     Ken was a 1958 graduate of Clearfield High School. He retired from Trimtex in 2003 after 44 years of service as a Sales Service Manager. He was an avid woodworker who loved to make various projects for both family and friends.

     Surviving are his children, Kenneth W. Brown and Sandra J. Stiger (Steve), both of Williamsport; two grandchildren, Jill M. (Stiger) Anthony, of Williamsport and Cory L. Stiger (Lindsay), of Milford, Mich.; three great-grandchildren, Alexia and Cole Anthony, and Josephine Stiger; and a brother, Frederick "Ted" Brown (Rose), of Duboistown.

     In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John Brown (Edith); and three sisters, Caroline Bietz (Irvin), Margaret Griffith (Alan), and Rebecca Varner (Frank). 

     A funeral service to honor the life of Ken will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, January 28 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, with the Rev. Dr. Patricia D. Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
