Joseph G. "Joe" Chance, 66, of Dewart, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport. Surviving are his loving wife, Brenda J. (McElroy) Chance, and their dog, Abby.
Born June 6, 1952, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late George J. Schweppenheiser Chance and Madeline J. (Whitnack) Fegley (James), of Williamsport.
Joe was a 1970 graduate of Warrior Run High School and received a certificate in computer science from a computer institute in California. Joe retired from Brodart as a computer programmer after more than 30 years.

Post high school, he served as his brotherás Little League baseball coach for six years at the Original League in Williamsport. More recently, Joe and Brenda watched sports together. He was a huge fan of the Phillies, Eagles, Penn State and the Calgary Stampeders. He loved his fantasy baseball league and all the good friends that were involved in that.
