Evelyn L. (Canavan) Collins

     Evelyn L. Collins, 94, of Jersey Shore, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018, at AristaCare at Loyalsock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Harold T. Collins on April 13, 2009.

      Born Oct. 14, 1923, in Chester, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Gertrude (McKinney) Canavan.

     Evelyn enjoyed making miniatures, such as doll houses and was very talented. She loved living along Pine Creek and cherished spending time with her family who brought her such joy in life.

     Surviving are her children, Ronald E. Collins (Mila), of Williamsport, Leslie C. Yeagle (Stephen), of Cogan Station, and Jean Warner (Albert), of Florida; three grandchildren,  Jeffrey Yeagle (Cathie), Andrew Yeagle, and Elizabeth Simpson; two great-grandchildren, Eliza L. and Lily G. Yeagle; and a brother, Thomas Rollo Canavan (Janet), of Delaware.

     Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
