Ernestine "Teeny" Beach

Ernestine “Teeny” Beach, 89, of Montoursville, passed away, Monday, May 20, 2019 at Valley View Rehab and Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Russell E. Beach on September 15, 2005.

Born August 2, 1929, in Cogan Station, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Ocie (Aderhold) Waltz.

Teeny was a member of Hepburn Baptist Church.  She was also a member of the local grange and a charter member of the Loyalsock Lioness where she received the Lioness of the year award for 2001-2002. In February 2007, she received the award of 60 years of service to the Lycoming County Farm.

Teeny loved watching Phillies baseball and Penn State football. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, spending time with her family, including the quarterly girls day at Country Cupboard, playing cards with her friends on Friday nights, and going to tractor-pulls with her husband.  

Surviving are her son, Larry R. Beach (Tina), of Montoursville, grandchildren, Jennifer Beach (Bob), Lori Beach, Ryan Beach, Tara Gundrum (Scott), and  Jennifer Marchese, four great-grandchildren; Keith Doyle, Samantha Fellenbaum, Sabrina Fellenbaum, and Daniel Doyle, two step-great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; Landon Doyle, and a sister, Eleanor Miller, of Williamsport.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her son; Gary E. Beach, and two brothers; Donald and Clyde Waltz.

A funeral service to honor the life of Teeny will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 24 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport with the Rev. David Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Stoltz Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
