Eleanor R. (Hort) Reardon

     Eleanor R. Reardon, 94, of Williamsport, died Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the Presbyterian Home, Williamsport.

     Born March 20, 1924, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Louie and Ruth (Boatman) Hort.

     Eleanor was a 1938 graduate of Danville High School. She had worked for Irvin Shoes, the State Correctional Facility in Muncy for 25 years, and in her 80’s as a salesperson for Bealls in Tampa, Florida.

     In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert E. Lynn, who was killed in action in France in 1944; and by her second husband, Lee J. Reardon.

     Surviving are her grandchildren, Marny (John) Knowles, of West Lynn, Oregon and Braden Reardon, of Hong Kong; their mother, her friend, Karen Kisberg; and great-granddaughter, Brindy Knowles. 

     Eleanor loved crocheting, knitting, golf, football, reading, politics, gardening and her family and friends.

    Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
