Edwina J. "Eddi" Freezer

Edwina J. “Eddi” Freezer, 75, of Williamsport, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Rose View Nursing Home surrounded by her family.

Eddi was born June 23, 1943 in Steamboat Springs, CO. She was a daughter of the late Leon Yost and Helena (Hofmann) Brandner.

She retired from Shop Vac in 2004 after 33 years of employment. Eddi was a member of Christian Church of Cogan Station in which she was also a member of the Bible study. Eddi was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved the time that she spent with her family.

Eddi is survived by her children Jeri D. Confer (Lee) of Williamsport, Dave J. Yoder (Petrea) of Montoursville, and Becky S. Yoder of Barberton, OH seven grandchildren; Amanda, David Jr., Daniel, Samantha, Lacey, Lexi, Lyssa, great-grandchildren; Hunter, Lyla, Ava, Lincoln, Gavin, eight step-children and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband; Eugene I. Yoder, her second husband Howard Freezer, two sisters; Shirley Jewell and Verleen Howe, and a brother Don Yost.

A memorial service to honor the life of Eddi will be held 11am, Tuesday, June 11 at Christian Church of Cogan Station, 5904 Lycoming Creek Rd, Cogan Station with Pastor Harry “Bud” Yoder officiating. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10am until the time of service.
