Edgar L.R. Garman, Jr.

     Edgar L.R. Garman Jr., 62, of Williamsport, died Sunday, June 9, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife of 21 years, Jean M. (Rogers) Garman.

     Born on Sept. 5, 1956, in Salina, Kan., he was a son of Shirley M. (Miller) Garman, of Selma, Texas, and the late Edgar Lloyd R. Garman Sr.

     Eddie was a 1974 graduate from Williamsport Area High School and served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. Ed held various positions as a welder and fabricator for many years and was a member of the American Legion.  

     Surviving are a son, Brooks Garman, of Williamsport; four grandchildren, Braize, Gionni, Brooks II and Odyssey, who he loved very much; two sisters, Tammie Jorge (Alberto) and Shellie Garman, both of Texas; and brother, James Garman (Christine), of Ohio.

     A funeral service to honor the life of Ed will be held 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 17, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy, with full military honors. A viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
