Donna M. (Horning) Vaughn

     Donna M. Vaughn, 73, of Williamsport, passed away, Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at her home.

     Born August 10, 1944, in Columbia Cross Roads, she was a daughter of the late Merle Horning and Marjorie (Grace) Davies.

     She was a graduate of North Penn High School. She retired from the accounts payable department at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

     Donna enjoyed sewing, knitting afgans, cooking, and baking. She was a loving mother and grandmother and cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She also had a love for all animals and adopted many from shelters over the years.

     Surviving are two sons, David M. Vaughn (Niccole'), of Apalachin, N.Y. and Daniel E. Vaughn (Diane), of Casselberry, Fla.; five grandchildren, Cory, Abrianna, Alexander, Regan, and Lindsay; a brother, Robert Davies (Carol), of Woodhull, N.Y.; and a sister, Jennifer Yusczyk (Phillip), of Blossburg.

     In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Edward W. Vaughn. Donna was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Dean and Dale Horning, whom she dearly missed and are now reunited together again.

     A memorial service to honor the life of Donna will be held 12 noon Saturday, January 20 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.

     Memorial contributions may be made in Donna's name to an animal rescue shelter of donor's choice.
