Delores I. "Dolly" Brass

     Delores I. “Dolly” Brass, 81, of Williamsport and formerly of South Williamsport passed away peacefully Friday, September 22, 2017 at Manor Care North. 

     Born October 14, 1935 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Richard L. and Beatrice (Chapman) Shoalts.

     Dolly was a member of Garden View Baptist Church for 38 years. She sang in the church choir and was very active, helping in various roles. Dolly was known for her excellent baking skills, especially her homemade pies.

     Surviving in addition to her church family is her dear friend, Sandra (Charles) Houser, of Williamsport and many other special friends and relatives.

     In addition to her parents Dolly was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James W. Brass, on January 24, 2008 and a brother Richard Shoalts.

     A graveside service to honor the life of Dolly will be held privately at Twin Hills Memorial Park Muncy.
