Dean S. Paulhamus

     Dean S. Paulhamus, 75, of Muncy, formerly of Cogan Station, died Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at his home with his loving family by his side. 

     Born Feb. 9, 1942, in Jersey Shore, he was a son of Clifton G. and Ruth L. (Hughes) Paulhamus.

     Dean was a 1960 graduate of Williamsport High School and worked as a truck driver for over 40 years. He enjoyed farming, woodworking, NASCAR, Penn State Football and was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church.

     Surviving are his wife of 29 years Doris R. (Heinze) Paulhamus, whom he married Feb. 14, 1988; three daughters, Teresa L. Paulhamus, of Harrisburg, Tamie R. Paulhamus, of Montgomery, and Susan M. Betts (Herb), of Muncy Valley; step-children, Darlene M. Wagner (Jeff), of Linden, Debbie S. Grimes (Allen), of Linden, Dwayne A. Koons (Elizabeth), of Jersey Shore, and Denise A. Gee (Steven), of Trout Run; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; a sister, Joyce P. Hall (Philip), of Montoursville, and Carol D. Morehart (Dennis), of Salem, Va.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin D. Paulhamus in 1988.  

     A funeral service to honor the life of Dean will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 29, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, with the Rev. Peter C. Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in State Road Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.

     The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions in Dean's name be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 42 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701 or the American Cancer Society, 1948 Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
