Adelia P. Clark, 95, of Williamsport, passed away Friday, August 30, 2019 at the Williamsport Home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Leon M. Clark.
Born March 29, 1924, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Walter D. and Helen M. (Bergenstock) Delsite. She graduated from Danville Area High School in 1941 and went on to become a licensed practical nurse, working for 25 years for the Danville State Hospital, before retiring in 1975. Adelia was a member of the Pine Street United Methodist Church, and a Past Matron and life member of The Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 186, Danville. Adelia enjoyed traveling with her husband and spent 26 years traveling through 49 states.
Surviving are a son, Dennis M. (Sally) Clark of Waneta Lake, NY. , a sister Dotty (Delsite) Brouse of Milton, four grandchildren, Christopher Nelson, Gary Nelson, Angela Stewart and Ashley Clark, eight great- grandchildren, Gregory, Kaylin, Caden, Lydia, Carter, Liam, Cole and McKenna, and one great- great-grandchild, Audrianna.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Judy (Clark) Walsh, a granddaughter, Carrie (Nelson) Adamson, and two brothers, Malcolm and Richard Delsite.
Burial in Elan Memorial Park will be held at the convenience of the family.
A celebration of life will be held at a future a date.
