Charles T. "Skip" Koch, 71, of Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport. Surviving is his loving and devoted fiance of 32 years, Geraldine M. Kaseman.
Born April 27, 1948, in Jersey Shore, he was a son of the late Isacc C. and Frances (Scalzo) Koch.
Skip honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He worked 32 years at the Williamsport Country Club as a greens keeper and truly loved what he did. Skip adored animals including his five cats and dog. Most of all Skip was a family man with a hard work ethic and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his fiance are his three sons, Matthew E., Victor R. and Jonathan M. Koch, all of Williamsport; a daughter, Waukera R. Berkley, of Avis; two stepsons Joseph R. Robinson Jr., of Harrisburg, and Glenn A. Robinson, of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren, Caleb, Morgan and Tyler Stetts, Samantha Petruskevich, Dakota Packer, Conner Gaul, and Zachary and Cameron Koch, one stepgreat-granddaughter; sister, Bonnie Beardslee, of Avis; sister-in-law, Rose M. Koch, of Jersey Shore; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Charles T. Koch Jr.; five brothers, Glenn, Oliver, Richard, John and Gene Koch; and two sisters, Rosie Hurlbutt and Leona Koch.
A memorial service to honor the life of Skip will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
