Yong Cha Schweikart

Yong Cha Schweikart, 84, formerly of Cogan Station, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at WeCare at Loyalsock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce W. Schweikart on November 5, 2006.

Born January 3, 1940, in Jeon-nam, Republic of Korea. 

Yong Cha worked at the former Wundies. She was a member of the Lycoming Centre Presbyterian Church and the former Han Maum Korean Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed cooking authentic Korean meals for her church members and friends as well as gardening. 

She is survived by many friends and fellow church members. 

A funeral service to honor the life of Yong Cha will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 6 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home 1914 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport with the Rev. Jerry Fourroux, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
