Carol Lee Eiswert, 85, of Camp Hill, formerly of Scott St., Williamsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 61 years, Frederick C. "Fred" Eiswert on April 27, 2019.
Born November 28, 1938, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late James Okius and Ruth Pearl (Frahn) Lowe.
Carol was a 1956 graduate of the Williamsport Area High School.
She was a woman whose heart was as full as her hands, dedicating her life to the loving care of her family as a devoted homemaker and mother to seven children. She was a dedicated member of the former Annunciation Catholic Church, now known as St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Her active involvement with the ARC of Lycoming County and the Altar and Rosary Society at Annunciation Parish were just a few examples of her dedication to service and her passion for helping others.
Carol will be missed for her rice pudding, rhubarb pies, springerlee cookies, and sand tarts. She found pleasure in the simple joys of life, whether it was reading a good book, sewing, thrifting, or crossword puzzles.
Surviving are her children: Rosemari J. Floriani of Shoemakersville, Bernard C. Eiswert (Cathy) of Shippensburg, Cheryl R. Long (Richard) of Camp Hill, Ann Marie Eiswert of Camp Hill, Kathleen J. Kerns (Todd) of Clear Spring, Md., Jennifer L. Drauschak (Joseph) of Nescopeck, and Frederick J. Eiswert of Washington D.C.; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald L. Lowe (Bonnie) of South Williamsport.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Floriani; two brothers, James F. and John H. Lowe; and a sister, Dorothy G. Schneider.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Friday, March 8, at St. Joseph the Worker Parish 702 W. Fourth St., Williamsport with the Rev. David W. Bechtel officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Montoursville. A viewing will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home 1914 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport.
