Ramona Lee Fausey

January 27, 1956 ~ November 2, 2017 (age 61) 61 Years Old

Ramona Lee Fausey, 61, of Williamsport and formerly of California, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017. Surviving is her loving husband of 41 years, Carl Grant Fausey Jr. who she married on May 20, 1976.


Born Jan. 27, 1956, in Williamsport, she is a daughter of the late, Kenneth E. and Margorie Ann (Yoder) Winter Sr.


Ramona graduated from Williamsport High School Class of 1973 and Bryman College. She was employed by the former Susquehanna Health for ten years as a Surgical Technologist, AST.


Ramona was a member of St. Johns-Newberry United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir. While living in Reseda, California she attended First United Methodist Church and taught Sunday school. She was part of the local chapter of the Eastern Star and AST (Association Surgical Technologist). Ramona enjoyed baking, sewing, watching movies, taking pictures and dolphins. 


Surviving in addition to her husband are her four children, Jason B. (Momoko) Fausey, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Travis K. (Amy) Fausey, of Stoystown, Tatiana M. Fausey, of San Francisco, Calif., Katrina L. Fausey, of Los Angeles, Calif.; three grandchildren, Sara T., Haru J. and Maya R. Fausey, all of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; three brothers, Kenneth E. Winter Jr., of Henderson, Md., Keith A., and Kevin D. Winter, both of Williamsport; three sisters, Carol A. Griffith, of Williampsort, Mary E. Yoder, of Milroy and Susan M. Winter-Herbst, of Lacey, Wash.


A funeral service to honor the life of Ramona will be held 11 a.m Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, at St. Johns-Newberry United Methodist Church, 2101 Newberry St., Williamsport, with Rev. Jay E. Jones, officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m until the time of service on Tuesday at church.
