Herbert Landon "Lanny" Fritz

     Herbert Landon "Lanny" Fritz, 79, of Linden, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at home.

     Born January 19, 1938, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Herbert A. and Grace (Landon) Fritz. 

     Lanny was a U.S. Army Veteran. Following his service in the military he was a truck driver for various companies including Halls Motor Transit. He was a member of various local fraternal organizations.

     Surviving are two brothers, William E. Fritz (Laverta), of DuBoistown and John W. Fritz (Phyllis), of Williamsport; several nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends, Don and Esther Pepperman. 

     In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert L. and Donald L. Fritz.

     A graveside service to honor the life of Lanny will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 1, in State Road Cemetery, 6738 Daughertys Run Road, Cogan Station.
