Gary D. Hedgcock

     Gary D. Hedgcock, 64, of Linden, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital. Surviving is his wife, Linda K. (Smith) Hedgcock, with whom they would have celebrated 44 years of marriage on November 4.

     Born June 4, 1953, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Archie Hedgcock and Etta Mae (Leavell) Capps, of Williamsport.

     Gary was a graduate of Williamsport High School. He retired as a crew chief from the Williamsport Water Authority in 2015 after 44 years.

     He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 106 F. & A.M. and East End Hunting Club. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and riding his ATV and Harley. Gary also enjoyed woodworking and bowling. Most of all Gary cherished being a loving and devoted husband, father and "Poppy."

     Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are a son, Luke W. Hedgcock (Rachel Mancuso), of Linden; a grandson, Bryce Hedgcock; and a sister, Dixie L. Haldeman (Duane), of Williamsport.

     In keeping with his wishes there will be no services.
