Dorothy M. "Dottie" (Blauvelt) Lepley

     Dorothy M. "Dottie" Lepley, 87, of Williamsport, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at Valley View Rehab and Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Theodore R. Lepley, on March 1, 2011.

     Born Dec. 2, 1929, in Erin, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Cameron and Emma Mae (Hubbard) Blauvelt.

     Dottie was the cafeteria manager for many years at Lycoming Valley Intermediate School.

     She was a member of Heshbon Park United Methodist Church, the Wheel Inn and the former Antlers Club. She enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. Dottie was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished her time with family and friends.

     Surviving are three sons, Steven C. Lepley (Susan), of Cogan Station, Mark A. Lepley (Mary), of Williamsport and Roger B. Lepley (Leslie), of Hampton, Va.; seven grandchildren, Kelly Stevens (Don), Nathan Lepley (Jessica), Joel Lepley, Melinda Moody (Ryan), Maggie Lepley, Elsa Lepley and Catherine Lepley; six great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Zachary and Emma Mae Stevens, Gracyn and Cainan Lepley and Tyler "T.J." Moody; two sisters, Doris Kline (Chuck), of Horseheads, N.Y. and Betty Lindsey, of Newark, Del.; and brother-in-law, Phil Libertore, of Millport, N.Y.

     In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Blauvelt and two sisters, Velma Lindsey and Marilyn Libertore.

     A funeral service to honor the life of Dottie will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, with the Rev. Robert G. Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.

     Burial will be held private in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dottie's name to Heshbon Park United Methodist Church, 2898 Heshbon Road, Williamsport, PA 17701; or Valley View Rehab and Nursing Center, 2140 Warrensville Road, Montoursville, PA 17754.
