Deborah A. Foran

     Deborah “Deb” A. Foran, 59, of Linden, died Sunday, December 1, 2013.

     Born November 3, 1954, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of John A. Foran of Marlton, NJ, and the late Dorothy M. (Kuriger) Foran.

     A loving mother and grandmother, whose love of family was as deep as her wit was quick. An avid reader, she worked diligently to pass along a love of reading and a thirst for knowledge to her children. She will be ever loved and deeply missed, especially during these times around the holidays, for which she had such passion, and from which she found such joy.

     Deb is survived by her three children, William J. (Erica) Holmes, of Linden, Keith B. (Kathleen) Holmes, of Williamsport, and Kaitlin E. Holmes of Williamsport, a brother William R. Foran, of Marlton, NJ, sister Margaret “Peg” F. Eroh, of Sinking Spring, three grandchildren, Maya M., Jackson L., and Lena R. Holmes.

     Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 5 at 1 p.m. at The Christian Church at Cogan Station, 5904 Lycoming Creek Road. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Deb’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
